Our Ingredients

Here at D’s we believe quality and consistency comes from only using the BEST ingredients!

We use local, Non GMO, and organic ingredients whenever possible. 

All-Purpose Flour ~ King Arthur unbleached and unbromated flour.

Butter ~ Real grade AA butter from Cabot .

Cheese ~ We only use Cabot extra sharp yellow cheddar cheese when creating our addictive cheese craver crackers.

Chocolate ~ JAR Bakery in Lincoln, RI has been providing us with high quality Milk, Semi – Sweet, Dark and White Chocolate from Guittard for 9 years. We also use Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate and Whole Foods 365 Brand 67% Cacao Dark Chocolate Chunks. We now carry Enjoy Life Semi Sweet and Dark Chocolate for our gluten free, dairy free, vegan and soy free products.

Coconut ~ Unsulfured and unsweetened; shredded and flaked from Bob’s Red Mill.

Dried Blueberries and Cherries ~ I searched far and wide to find delicious, and non sweetened dried fruits like blueberries, pears, and cherries to name a few. Bella Viva Orchards out of California has the best quality fruits and awesome customer service.

Dried Unsweetened CranberriesHonestly Cranberry  prides itself in delivering the real flavor and tartness that cranberries are known for. These super yummy, tart cranberries are unsweetened and Non GMO

Eggs ~ Only local, farm fresh will do for these baked goods. Josh and Felicia DaSilva of DaSilva Farm Located in Portsmouth, RI. Their animals are pasture raised, receive no antibiotics or growth hormones, forage from chemical free fields and are fed non gmo feed.

Flaxseed ~ Always certified gluten free and organic Bob’s Red Mill brand.

Fruits & Vegetables ~ Seasonal goodies are only made with Local fruits and vegetables (organic when available). Farms include Cervelli Farm of Rochester, MA, Four Town Farm of Seekonk, MA, Skinny Dip Farm or Westport, MA.

Fruit Sugars ~ Made with fresh local apples and pears, organic bananas and fresh dates. Our house made sugars are used as a tasty and healthier sweetener ingredient option in many of our recipes.

Gluten Free Flours, Meals and Oats ~ Bob’s Red Mill has the best assortment of high quality Certified Gluten Free ingredients available.

Honey ~ Our local and raw honey is bottled by Kathy of Bee’s Knees Apiary just a short buzz away in Mansfield, MA.

Maple Syrup & Maple Sugar ~ Pure, local and made with love by Ian and Caitlin of Ackermann Maple Farm. Production of these delicious natural sweeteners take place in Cabot, VT.

Oils ~ Coconut – Always unrefined and organic. Avocado – Non GMO

Peanut Butter and Nuts ~ We only use natural peanut butter and nuts from Virginia Spanish Peanut Factory in Providence, RI. This 4th generation family business has been roasting their peanuts and making peanut butter right down the street in Providence, RI for more than 100 years!

Sugars ~ Pure cane, light brown and dark brown are all Domino.

Vanilla Beans ~ Nothing beats fresh vanilla beans, sugar, powder and extract. Our house made vanilla sugar, powder and extract is made with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans from Beanilla.

Whole Wheat Flour ~ King Arthur hard red wheat.

Whole Wheat Pastry Flour ~ Bob’s Red Mill whole grain soft white wheat.
